Kalipay Negrense Foundation Inc., is a non-profit foundation working for the causes of disadvantaged children – the homeless, physically and sexually abused, malnourished, out of school and special children. They are located in the island of Negros Occidental, Philippines.
I volunteered in Kalipay for a total of seven months, in 2017. This gave me the opportunity to meet wonderful human beings, including the staff members, volunteers, and of course, the children. Aside from the daily volunteer work in both their homes (Haven Home and Recovered Treasures), I spent two days a week in their office, providing my services and support as a designer. During this time, I renovated their brand by designing three new logos for Haven Home, Recovered Treasures, and the Volunteers. I also designed and created the Annual Report of 2016, as well as their global and Spanish websites.
